Shots were fired during a burglary at Greenville Police Chief, Ken Miller’s home last month according to Miller.

Chief Miller says his dogs made him aware someone was in the house.

He says he went downstairs into the walk-in basement and confronted the intruder outside the home.

He says he told the suspect to stop and put his hands up.

Chief Miller says the suspect shot at him three times, but he did not return fire.

The chief says the suspect had already taken a TV from the house.

The suspect, Prentice Demarcus Grant has been charged with Burglary 1st Degree and Possession of Gun/Knife During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
