Two people were killed in a shooting at Macdonald and San Pablo avenues in Richmond on Sunday, police said.

Damont Kimble, 18, and Tamonni Featherstone, 22, were fatally shot about 9:30 p.m. after a suspect in a vehicle fired into their vehicle at the intersection, Capt. Mark Gagan said. The vehicle they were in was driven to the hospital before police arrived at the crime scene. A 21-year-old woman also suffered gunshot wounds and is in serious but stable condition, Gagan said.

The crime was located in the eastbound turn lanes of Macdonald near the San Pablo Avenue intersection. The suspect vehicle, described by witnesses as a silver or gray Infiniti sedan, fled and police need the public’s help in locating it and its occupants. A reward of $10,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to solving the case. Investigators can be reached at (510) 621-8477 and anonymous tips can be left at (510) 232-8477.

The deaths marked Richmond’s 17th and 18th homicides of the year, Gagan said.
